It is, indeed, Dabbit. What's next? Banning breathing because of possible pollution in the air? Thoroughly silly, if you ask me.

In 1995 (I think) a London School head teacher was stabbed to death by a 15 years old outside his school. Now some 12 or so years later that young man is to be released - and in most cases he should be deported back to his own country - in this case Italy. Howevever the power that be have said "Ah this guy can't go back to Italy as it will breach his human rights!" - HOW?
It drives me completely mad when I read these stories about human rights and they have I'm afraid been taken too far! Now if that breaches his human rights surely the recent smoking ban breaches smokers human rights? Missing a bus that comes early breaches our human rights?

My sister in laws parents have moved to France and they love it! My brother and his wife go over every year at least once for a holiday, and they love it too. Where they are is a much quieter pace of life and Richard (my big bruv) has even got into wine drinking - something he wouldnever have thought of before - it was always beer

I feel that somehow when a convicted felon has the jailhouse door close behind him he gives up all rights. After all he gave up the persons tights that got him in there. Seems fair to me. If he gets at least one meal a day and has a blanket and a bed. That's more than enough. Forget the college educations. Most of those people in jails don't want to anything good anyway. OK I'm not being fair. THere are those in jail who made a mistake, a bad decision, whatever and they are basically good people, but the percentage is very low.

Its a shame that a minority of people have so much power that the needs/wants of the majority are now overlooked.
