Send a free post card to an American soldier. The card design is by children. You select a card give your name and address, add your message and it is sent free to a soldier. www.letssaythanks.com I'm in the process of sending one now. Hope you do too.

Another neat site is the following: www.anysoldier.com/WhereToSend/It lists soldiers, each representing a group, so you can send care packages or cards. When you click on a name, it brings up a message from them telling a bit about their unit and what they need. It's quite addictive when you start reading their messages. My red hat chapter has sent 19 packages so far. We had a garage sale to raise $$ and got over $700 !! The $$ was great, but we quickly decided hauling around huge items to sell was much too much work for us old ladies. It was a very gratifying experience and manytimes they'll write back.
