When I heard about the professor who barracaded the door with his own body and died saving his students I was struck by one thought. We all wonder why me? I can imagine that for 60 years or more he often asked himself "Why did I survive the camps? Why did I live and so many die?" I pray that this brave man had the answer to his questions before he died. Because I know why he lived. It was to save the lives of those students.

Well said. That was a man among men.
