I have searched my flower beds, my yard and even the woods next to me for something spring like. I can't find my snowdrops or my anemones or any skunk cabbage. I did find thingy willow and brought in a bunch just to remind me Spring is surely coming soon. Surely we should be bursting out in green soon.

It's lovely here (sorry) we've got all the bulbs pushed up and now waiting to open their flowers, the grass has had its first cut, and at time of writing the sun is shining brightly (though a tad cold). Some bulbs like the crocus and some daffodils have already flowered (depending on position)

It's been such a long drawn out winter. I can't really complain about too much snow but it sure was way too many dull dark dreary days. By the way my thingy willows were p us sywillows. I now have daffodils up about 5 inches but way to cold for the blooms yet. The grass is still brown and very ugly. But the birds are showing off to the girls so that is a very good sign.
