I am absolutely manic if I don't have a book to read. I, too am a very fast reader. I disappear into a book and have been told I seem to inhale them. I bring my book to the doctor etc because I cannot stand just sitting anywhere. The 'up' side of this glorious obsession is that other things get done both quickly and well so I can get back to my book. So I am applying for membership to the BRA . I have found a wonderful site Dover Publishers which has so many books from $1.00 up and the books are beautiful and classic. Take a look!

My name is Mark and I'm a book-a-holic.
As one of the founding members of B.R.A., along with Sandy, I welcome you. It's always good to have a new 'Bosom Buddy' join our ranks, Belle! I too, must always have a book.
While we don't have a '12 step program' per se, I'm sure you have at least a dozen books we can recommend. ;D

The Millenium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson -fascinating and the third book is coming by the end of May
I love mysteries and have 3 anthologies to read: Dicksenian, Great American and another one (the brain stopped working here) but I will post full info tomorrow.
Watership Down was fantastic and the sequel.
So many books, so little time.

I liked Watership Down too and bought a DVD of the movie they made. It made me very "hoppy".... ;D
