I wish I'd paid more attention at school , as you know I haven't long been into reading books but it does take me an age...My current book is Martina Cole called Faceless and it is gripping and definetley my type of book, set in the seedy of London.
Eleven years ago Marie Carter was convicted of killing her two best friends. And she’s paid the price. Now she is being released from prison. It’s time to go home. But life has moved on, and Marie has nowhere to go. Her parents have disowned her; her friends have abandoned her; even her kids don’t want to know. But some people out there are watching her, following her every move – they know that Marie Carter wants retribution.

Well mark I'd happily post it on to you when it's finished (though it might take sometime I hasten to add) if you like? It was a freebie did I mention that?

No, you didn't mention that. Good deal, though! It would probably cost you as much to post it as it would be for me to buy it, but I appreciate the offer. I'll perhaps buy it to read during the flight to Rome in the Fall.

I have at long last finished the book and it was not dissappointing in anyway...Great read if the murder/thriller/gang time London/ prostitution racket is your kind of book

Boy, that is a very definitive, precise genre! LoL. But seriously, if you say it is an enjoyable book, Dabbit, I'll check it out. But not tonight. Tonight I'm going to slip into something comfortable and watch 'The Departed' - on which I'll report on your Films Review board, later... ;D As for reading, I'm still trying to wade my way through Howard Fast's 'The Establishment'....very slow going - at least for me. I probably should give up on it, but I have this personal rule that 'once begun - I cannot run' - I have to finish the book, however painful the process may be. The only book I never finished was one I left in my room at the Hotel Nacional in Havana, Cuba. I was so happy to get out of there I completely forgot about it. That book was hard to concentrate on too, not because it was boring, but because I knew everything I did or said would be videotaped or recorded. Not a fun place, particularly for a 'diplomat'.

Dave, the more you read the better you get. So don't apologize for being slow be glad you are improving.

What's it all about, Dabbit? I'm currently reading a Stephen King Book called 'Cell' about everyone driven barking mad by their cell phones...

Well, in Minneapolis, there's always plenty of snow to bury your bodies in, LOL.

From what I have read Mark it does seem to have a lot of snow in the winter - not to mention open countryside, farms, ohyes and cop killers
