Oh great, Dabbit! That's good to hear as I've purchased that book, but have yet to begin reading it.
Been spending most of my time working on PET lately, and neglecting my reading - I must get back to it!

Right. Well, it's only just come by mail - something I swapped some 'survey points' for.

Well I am now about a 1/4 from the end and I have to say that when I actually do get around to reading it I find it hard to put down. Have you read it yet Mark?

Not yet, Dabbit, I'm still reading his other book, 'Angels & Demons'. It's a pretty good read too - it's the 'prequel' to 'The Da Vinci Code'.

I did think about getting that one too Mark, do you need to read that one first (before the Da Vinci code)

I don't know, Dabbit. I hadn't realized it was a prequel before I ordered it from Amazon. I haven't read the Da Vinci code, although I did see the movie. What I may do is now get the Da Vinci code book and read it after I finish the prequel.

I just read a Gail Fraser book called Stealing Lumby. Was a real good laugh. I wish I lived in a town like that. After checking online this was 1 of 4 Lumby books she wrote. Can't wait to find the other 3. the titles are Lumby Lives, Stealing Lumby Lumby's Bounty and Promise of Lumby.

Is 'Lumby' the name of the town, I assume?

My current read is 'The Perfect Husband' by Lisa Gardner. I must confess while its keeping my attention somewhat it isn't as compulsive as other books, and therefore I tend not to pick it up as much as I do others.
The story is about a young woman who marries 'the perfect husband' and policeman at that! But that Policeman isn't as perfect as he seems. But when the now imprisioned perfect husband escapes does Theresea cause to worry?

P.S. I am pretty sure I have spelt Theresea wrong in the above post - please forgive my sheer ignorance (in the book she is known as Angela so far and Tess and Theresea) so confusion set in

Sounds like a thriller, Dabbit, however you spell it!

I know the symptoms, Dabbit, as Wordsworth said, "the world is too much with us....". I too have been reading the same book for much longer than usual, even though I'm a fairly fast reader, I just don't seem to find the time anymore.

I just finished it and towards the end it got more interesting - an OK read

Well, if it's just 'OK' in your book (pun intended), then I will probably pass on it. ;D

For a real good read try Jodi Picoult. I gave one of her books to my daughter and created a monster. She read it went to the library and got a bunch more and won't quit reading. Good review for an author I would say.
