I read Iris Johansen's Stalemate. Love her books. I am reading Barack Obama's The Audacity of Hope. It is interesting thus far.

Hmmm....not familiar with either author, I'm afraid.

I am now reading Heather Graham's Dead Room. It's quite entertaining.

Hmmm.....Dead Room, sounds interesting. Also sounds familiar, sounds like the last time I told a joke at a party. But the book sounds really intriguing.

It was a good book with a different ending. I had trouble putting it down.

I don't usually take advice from cats, but you make it sound intriguing - I'll have to look it up...

Alex had it right, Mark. I read it after Alex left it behind. (He is out roaming again. Spring, you know) It is intriguing. Different ending too.

Yes, it is Spring, isn't it? My fancy used to turn to something then, now I can't recall what it was.

Was that it? Somehow it doesn't sound right. Bananas and cabbage? Naaaw, don't think so.

Just finished reading Agate Hill by Lee Smith. Sandy left it laying about so when I took off I took it with me. Strange book. Had to finish the whole thing. Was it worth it? Still don't know. Ask me later.

By strange, do you mean 'other-worldly', 'off-beat', or just plain didn't make sense?

Alex is roaming again. Blasted cat! It's a diary from 1875 and other historical data. You get caught up in it but have a lot of unanswered questions. Had to finish it. Just a different book.

Yep, I'm used to unanswered questions. I watched 'The Sopranos' all these years and the last episode was Sunday night - it just suddenly ended - nothing resolved.

Hey Guys! I have been taking some time and reading reading reading. James Patterson - The Women's Murder Club Mystery series. Soon to be on TV! Janet Evanovich - great for a good belly laugh or three and Elizabeth Lowell - what a trip she gives you. Well worth the time to read. Always enjoy her books. Now it's time for me to ramble along somewhere else. They are started to demand things of me here. I don't do demands.

Yes, 'people' can be so unrealistic.
