I recently installed something from the channel 4 web site to allow me to catch up on missed programmes. However upon restarting my pc it was so slow I thought it had frozen on start up. And then I realised I had installed this programme which I quickly uninstalled. However it also uses Microsoft. Net framework, which I wasn't sure about uninstalling. Can I uninstall it safely without problems or will my machine play havoc with me?

Well, as nothing is using Framework I don't think it will interfere with anything if you leave it, or disturb anything if you remove it - if you're sure nothing else on your computer depends on it being there. Probably safe to remove, but it shouldn't affect your computer's performance if you leave it either.

Yeah, it's a real hog if you don't need it, Dabbit.
