Someday I'll get around to adding some text to the pictures in these slideshows. But for now, let it suffice to say that the task of going through some 1,000 photos, weeding out the ones that were unsalvageable and getting the rest online and organized was monumental. What is left is nearly 900 photos, some better than others, some repetitive, but for now I will let the matter rest and let you (hopefully) enjoy... Did you do anything else other than taking pictures?
Also I heard all those cats where wild, even the one with the collar.

Lovely Mark I like the ones from the plane - quite spectacular Thanks, Dabbit. I liked the ones of the Alps and then later, of Philadelphia. Digital photography has sure come a long way, hasn't it?

I didn't dare take any pictures from the plane as I thought it might have an effect on the plane - LOL. We were told to switch off anything like mobiles or battery operated things... And I was slightly nervous upon take off and went to pull the blind down, but the head stewardess then said "You can't do that in case we crash, we need to know which side to get out" Very reassuring

I've never heard a flight attendant talk like that, Dabbit, was she new to the job?

Thank you so much for sharing your Rome Adventure. I will probably never make it to Rome but your pictures are the most extensive I have seen of Rome! Wish I was there. pearlsmom

Thanks, Pearlsmom! I appreciate your comments. I hope you get to see Rome someday, and you never know. It was a real adventure, as was our side trip to Florence. I had been to Venice before, but this was my first trip to Rome (other than passing through at the airport) and Florence.
Do go if you get a chance!
