Some lovely friends indeed, Squirrelann. I'm curious, what kind of tortoise is that in the last shot? And I do like the fox!
Which area of the UK do you live in? I've seen some foxes around here, but they are a different variety I think.

Hi, my 2 young torts are Hermans and they will be 2 August, my adults are both spur thighs " Iberas ", the darker one is Sid my male he,s 12 yrs and Tootsie my female in the photo with the hermans is about 35yrs, both my adults are rehomers so came to me free, they all have their paperwork so I,m hoping maybe next year for some eggs. The fox we think is a male and possibly this years as he looks young and is rather scrawny but we,re fattening him up, he comes throughout the day and in the evening we can stand in the doorway and throw food out to him and he won,t run away, there are 12 squirrels in the party picture thats a typical sitting the two in the aviary and the one sitting on the chair are some of our handreared babies. We live in Kent at a place called Horton Kirby not far from Brands Hatch hubby is the caretaker of a elizabethan house which is now used as offices and we live in the grounds, if anyone has google earth the post code is DA4 9JJ there are some nice ariels on there, there are 90 acres of parkland and the river Darrent runs through the property when everyone goes home at 5 we lock the gates and the place is ours

Squirrelann, is that a large Willlow tree next to your house? Looks like it in the small pic. And the tree on the other side with the pinkish flowers, what sort is it, do you know?

Yes it is a willow and its the beautifull shade of green in the spring when the photo was taken, the other is I think a flowering cherry, there are some lovely trees in the park including a couple of giant redwoods which are very old, theres a colony of ring necked parrots which are very pretty when they fly over and because we aren,t that far from the Thames Canadian Geese spend the nights here. We had a pair of Sparrow Hawks that nested on the main house roof and we were able to watch them feeding etc we feel very privileged to live here exspecially as the wildlife now trusts us and comes to the door even the wild rabbits come and sit outside so they get fed as well this is a picture of a wild baby bunny that came in the house when it was raining had to take a photo before it was put back outside

Ah thats lovely Squirrelann...Did you see the one show on TV the other night they had a woman (forgot where she was living now) but anyway she fed this female fox (vixen isn't it?) every night at 5.30pm and it would turn up every single night and sit and wait for the food. She would then cook up some meat for it in a bag to take home for its little ones and off it trotted with the bag in mouth - it was fascinating. I can imagine how beautiful it is living where you are
