Now that I have a title I am having trouble wording the subject. First I was born to be a white hat. I was given responsibility at a young age. I never hesitated to take on big jobs. Now I find that I'd like to turn in my white hat and just watch while others cope. It isn't always easy human nature being what it is but I'm trying. So I guess my question is. Do you seek out more responsibility or duck it? Take it on or try to share it? Love it or hate it?

Quite frankly, I have always had trouble letting everybody else 'run with the ball' so-to-speak. Simply put, and this isn't bragging, I know I can depend on me. If I say something you can take it to the bank and let it draw interest because I place a very high value on trustworthiness and respectability - sort of in keeping with the type of work I used to be in. That's why I despise people like Aldrich Ames who sell their souls and their country for money.

I have found that responsibility gets you whether you want it or not. I was raised to believe if you start something finish it. If you aren't going to do it right don't do it at all. That makes taking on responsibility a big undertaking. I went to court last summer and obtained physical guardainship of my aunt. I tried to get financial also but soon was glad that I didn't. She is the last member of my dad's immediate family. I am not sure why I was the one chosen to do this. There are 29 other cousins, I think. But I took it on and am doing my best. It is definitely a learning process. I am getting knowledge of the court systems and of the workings of a nursing home. Wonder if I"ll ever need it again?

Oh, let's hope not.
Did you get my instructions about posting pictures and the free space online I put in the SayBox?
Also, I think maybe I cleared up the problem in the Chat Room.

I have tried the 'chat room' several times but I seem to be the only one there. I have caught talking to myself many times lately and people are getting worried. Now if I chat to myself, well that may get me into deep trouble. Or should I say a locked room. lol

The thing is, you probably need to set up a time ahead of time for 'chatting'. I'm in the chat room at this very moment, but by myself it seems.

My friends laughed at me when I told them I sent an email to myself...They laugh even more when I said I telephoned myself - can't understand the problem really! (lol)

Dabbit, it's when we answer ourselves that we have need for worry, I think.

How did you get a year older? Must have stood there thinking a long time, huh?

Are you taking responsibility for that year or is it someone elses fault? Personally I like getting a year older. It's better than the alternative. You can lie about your age but you can't lie about being dead.Wait if you are dead you are lying about. Oh my why are wee in this room?

Did what? I'm confused - your BD is listed as April 3rd, but 4 weeks later you're still rolling on the floor...color me confused.
