The UK is in the grip of a heatwave, by heatwave we mean temperatures of up to about 36 Celsius (about 97 F (I think)). of course being the UK and knowing our obsession with the weather it is all over the news, news paper, etc. But I wonder is it like this in the USA or are you brave soldiers the 'non moaning' type?

Oh NO! Across the US there is a heat wave and we are all complaining. I talked to my mother on Sunday (she lives in California) and she said the temps there were in the low 100's. Also, my sister in Arizona where the temps were about 115. Where I live we hit 97 yesterday. Very unusual for this area. Everyone is complaining about the heat. Guess we are in good company. :-0

It's all over, Dave. It hasn't rained where I live for over two months now and there are water usage restrictions. Also it has been well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for several days running. Global Warming or a trend? I don't know, but scientists seem to think that Global Warming is here, it's real and something we should all be concerned with.
