A friend on Facebook (from Ezcooking I believe) said she had planted tomatoes in a topsy turvy planter: Intriqued I search the interenet for the said item but found it on JML at over £10 delivered, so I decided not to bother, particularly knowing I don't particularly have green fingers most of the time. However a day or so later I had an email from Grabitnow offering me the same planter with a FREE packet of seeds for less than £4.00. Needless to say I snapped it up and as I had already bought a couple of tomato plants I planted one ine it, expecting - well i was unsure what i was expecting to be honest. However, I can now annouce (with some pride I have to say) that although the plants aren't particularly 'tall' (What's upside for tall? Not short surely? :]) And I have masses of flowers and now some fruits too. I am rather excited I have to confess... So if you want to grow some tomatoes with good success I would highly recommend the topsy turvy planter Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Amazing, Dabbit! Thanks for the report, I've always wondered whether those Topsy Turvy things really worked. Now I know! ;D

Mark talking of my planter the person who recommended it was Denise Flyn(n?). But she seems to have vanished from Facebook AND Ezcooking, have you heard anything?

Sorry, Dabbit, I can't find any trace of her. I recall the name, but can't find her on EZ Cooking. Unfortunately, I don't understand enough about Facebook to find her there.

It is a bit odd... She was from Louisiana, and we got speaking because her grand daughter got ill a while back. She even asked me for the Ezcooking url... Oh well not much we can do, hope she is OK.

That is a bit odd, Dabbit. I too hope she is alright. I really dislike these little mysteries where people just seem to disappear.
