by Stephen King is my current 'read'. Actually, it's one of his first books, written as Richard Bachman, I believe it was, but re-printed and re-released. A frightening glimpse of a possible future. There are many such books that have been written, but I'm always amazed at how King has a knack for building the horror in such a way that the conclusion, even if you see it coming, grabs your insides and twists with a vengeance.

Sounds good Mark, my favourite horror writer is Shaun Hutson and I do want to read more when I pick up one of his. Never actually read a Stephen King book but have seen a couple of his films.

I've never read any of Shaun Hutson's books, I'll have to look him up. The thing about books over films, for me, is that in books you use your imagination instead of cinematic effects. For me, my imagination is the better cinematographer... ;D
