Hello Mark, good to see you got home safely! Did you have a nice time? It has been very quiet on here with on a few posts! Anyway hope you and Marianne are both well and fully relaxed. Gotta dash as I 'might' have a dental appointment in an hour or so if my BG are OK with him....

Thanks, Dabbit. We had a great time, although I got back to find my mum had been hospitalized while I was away, so I will have to visit her right after Marianne's mother's memorial service which is scheduled for tomorrow. It doesn't rain, but it pours, it seems.

Good to see you back Mark, and glad you've enjoyed your holiday. Sorry to hear the news on your mother, I will, of course, keep her in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your mum Mark, as you say it never seems to rain - just pour! And you have certainly had a rough ride lately! I hope your mum is soon out of hospital and on the road to recovery!

Thanks, all of you. It helps to know one is held in regard and that they are remembered in prayer, as well.

How is Marrianne coping with her sad loss?

Oh, Marianne is doing quite well, but a bit overwhelmed with performing all of the associated tasks having to do with insurance, pensions, etc. Apparently, death is a complicated process. Should be easier.

I remember that oh too well when my own father died! Sorting this, phoning them, finding that, yes a busy time indeed Mark. I'll be here to look after Exascape so don't worry too much about that. How is your mum now?

Ah yes, I remember all too well myself, Dabbit. I was working in El Salvador at the time of my own father's death and had to get our State Department to pull many strings to get me back stateside so I could get back and go through the same thing here. A busy time indeed. Stress on top of stress...
