The world is facing a financial shortage and we in the UK are expecting to hit a recession shortly. House prices have fallen, mortgages and bank loans are simply not available, interest rates have gone up, food prices have shot up too along with petrol prices. I wonder how people are managing to cope in the gloomy days? To be honest nothing has changed for me apart from tightening the food purse - and I'd feel much better if only the sun would show its face!

Well, same here, Dabbit, same here. But some parts of the world are experiencing economic boom....let's see if we can guess where those parts are, think it might be the OPEC countries? You betcha! The rest of us, dependent for the most part on oil produced by the OPEC countries are at their mercy. The end can only come when we have broken the shackles of dependency on oil itself.
