Why oh why do they find it so difficult to get blood from me - this time see me in the doctors surgery for 1 hour and with one nurse and one doctor they only got a fraction of a tea spoon full. They sent the minute bit off and guess what? They forgot to put my name on the sample so I have to go to the hospital now on Thursday to see if they can get it....
I felt like screaming - though I kept my cool of course

You're to be commended for 'keeping your cool', Dabbit. I'm not sure I could have - what dunderheads!

I recently has a tube of blood disappear too. Luckily they didn't charge me for it. But now I have to go have it done again. Oh well. It seems,Dave, that some people have small veins which makes it hard to draw blood. I have a bro in law who has wormy veins. That's right wormy. Instead of the veins traveling through the body in relative straight lines his wriggle all over, giving him kinks ans swirls and making it darn hard for doctors to do a catherization. It caused him a few problems when they did on on him. I find it's amazing what we hide under our skin.

Interesting, I've never heard of such a thing. Now, I'll probably watch my wrist or the back of my hand to see if I can detect movement...
