The last few weeks here in New England has been sweater weather. Yes, being able to be outside in a long sleeved shirt during the day and as the evening approaches one adds a sweater. We have been able to planting of bulbs and shrubs without the fear of a frost. Ver unusual for around here and this time of year. Well Sunday ended that. I went to bed with my windows open, only to find snow on the sills this morning.
To look out my French doors into the back yard, was to look at a beautiful picture post card of what a snowy New England should be. When the wind blew and the trees heavy bows swayed they glistened like sparkling diamonds. Everything covered in white fluffy snow. So beautiful. Then the yucky job comes of shoveling the walkways and driveway. Forget the scene of beauty and exercise the muscles being practical.
Oh New England weather. As the saying goes, "wait a minute and it will change."

Oh well, I guess you have to expect that, where you're living.
