I am feeling quite neglected. So to remedy this I want to explain this board. It is not a serious board. If you want to make up a silly situation and ask about it go for it. On the other hand, if you have a serious question it will be dealt with most respectfully. That said I hope all of you keep me busy. An idle cat is a cat looking for trouble. So. PLEASE, keep me out of trouble!

Ok Alex here it goes.
Baby (my oldest cat) is feeling a little jealous of the new kitty that has just moved in next door. What do you think of painting his nails to give him a little glow?

HIM? PAINTED CLAWS? GROSS HUMILIATION! No way dear. An older cat being jealous of a cute little kitty is normal. Soon Baby(please, the name is sooo cutesy) will realize that this kitten will lose his cuteness and then Baby can again resume his rightful place in the neighborhood as Supreme Being. Painting a cat's claws is not a way to make a cat feel better. I have never had that horrible thing happen to me but know other felines whose people thought it was cute. Those poor felines had to go into hiding until they manage to remove the ugly stuff. The ridicule from the others was hard for them to take. Especially when it came from those canine residents. To help Baby get through this time in his life, give him extra treats and attention. Soon he will be showing the newcomer the tricks of surviving a life of being superior but shorter in a world of silly humans.

OK Alex you know felines all too well. I will take your advise. I did confer with him and he agreed with you. Oh you are so wise. :-)
