Our poor little old garden is looking a little worse for wear as the veggies are all gone as too have the flowers. We just planted some over winter plants (Polyanthus and winter pansies) but they are so young they aren't making an impression. The birds seem to have deserted our feeder and although the garden is neat and tidy I can't help wishing it was sumemr again

I know what you mean, Dabbit. The summer was awful this year, with the drought and all. Everything brown and/or dying and leaves turning brown and falling prematurely. Even so, I would prefer that it always be summer, but I guess I'd have to move a bit further south for that to happen.

A rotten shame you couldn't ship some of that rain here, Dabbit. Prices are climbing here due to the drought.
