Week of 20 August, 2007 www.ready.gov - Although produced by the U.S. Government, this site's videos about emergency preparedness are actually applicable anywhere.

Nice to see they don't forget our pets in their emergency pack recommendations...Good site but a shame things have come to this isn't it?

Yes, it is. What do you think of the idea, though, of the Website Of the Week (WOW)?

Well, that's a good idea too, Dabbit. How about a WOM with a link to the WOW at the forum (getting them to come to the forum one way or the other, LOL), or something like that?

Oh now I had to read that more than once - I'm braind dead this morning and all the WOM and WOW sort of confused me LOL.
Now am I getting this right Mark (forgive me I'm British): You put the WOW up and we link it in the newsletter? (I know complicated isn't it?)

Well, what I think I was supposing was posting the WoW's here, and summarizing them in the newsletter, talking about the wonderful links and then providing a link back to the forum. If the summaries pique their interest then we would get more visits to the forum, if you get my meaning. In other words, the newsletter and forum, feed each other. Or, is this another 'senior moment' bad idea, LOL?
