A real glass window that is. I downloaded a trial version of Uniblu Registry Bosster 2 (and something else from there yesterday). i decided I didn't want to pay to upgrade it. So I went add/remove programs and was able to remove the "something else". But I can't get rid of the Registry Booster. It keeps saying I can't remove it because it is running. But I don't know how to stop it. IT won't let me do anything. The reason why I decided to remove it today is because it won't let me play music from Heavens Gate. Apoppup says click ok to downlload an Active x something and when I click on the X everything disappears except the crazy Rgistry Booster2 program. IT'S A TRIAL VERSION AND I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR IT JUST BECAUSE I CAN'T REMOVE IT. My email address is nhcremepuff2000@yahoo. Amyone from here can email me. All the spammers already have it anyway. GOOD GRIEF - I FOUND THE FIRST MESSAGE AFTER POSTING THE SECOND.

Tarradiddle, try first rebooting and then click on Start, and then Control Panel. Now double click on Add or Remove Programs, then select that Uniblue thingy, and Click on Change/Remove and then follow prompts to delete it. Then let me know what happens.

Does the programme not have an uninstall facility tarradiddle? If you go to the prgramme and right click on it and look for uninstall), alternativley do the same from the start menu. I would say - try this AFTER what Mark has tried as Windows usually removes things better than the uninstall option
