Though much trial and errors, I have kept my pc running reasonably smoothly. I evev have Outlook Express now. But I still have a couple of questions about other problems. I have lost the green arrows that were in the upper left-hand corner of each page so I could go back to the page before. So I can't go back to the previous page when I want to. And File-close closes the website or whatever and the "x" in the upper right hand corner closes everything back to desktop. What did I do? How do I get the green arrows back? Second: Are things that drop down (ads) the same as "pop-up"? Lately I get an ad dropping down every page I go to. They seem to come from Microsoft Internet Explorer and/or Google. This is definitely annoying to say the least. i was going to put it on pet-peeve but it's even worse than that. Sorry I haven't been on Chat. Sunday morning I am either sleeping late (esp. after time change) or taking care of my grandaughter.

Hi Tarradiddle. I'll work on your problem with the Internet Explorer window and get back to you when I've figured out an answer. I'm glad you have Outlook Express working! ;D

Ok, but about your disappearing buttons. When you click on 'View' at the top, and then 'Toolbars', does it look like this? If not, make it look like this by clicking in the appropriate boxes and then click OK. Reboot and see if it brings your missing buttons back. Let me know.
