NASA's Space Shuttle Program has one more flight scheduled before it disappears into the annals of America's space exploration history. But is not the time to bemoan its fate but to look beyond, toward the future. Some who are children now might be the first human explorers to make the next "giant leap for mankind" by stepping onto the red sands of Mars and elsewhere.
