Mark, I thought I figured out how to send a personal message on here. I sent it to you, but I got an error message that Mark isn't a user name.

Talking of personal messages did you know that if you go to your message page (simply click the 'hey **** you have 1 message'). When you arrive click preferences and then use the dropped down menu to select 'pop up' alert box on new message. This will ensure you never miss a new message sent by offering you the chance to go tonew messages straight away or clicking the cancel button and checkin it out later.

Marcia, the person that starts the forum has a default name of Admin...I can tell it to display my name, but apparently Personal Messages have to be addressed to Admin.
Thanks for the advice, Dabbit, I didn't know all that.

I didn't see that we could send personnel messages. I will have to explore this site more. LOL

Stupid question here. Are you Admin or Administrator? I don't have time now to do it again, but I can see the names of the people who are here now. Cool. Of course, now I have to leave.

Well, sorry to see you go so soon, but come back when you can, Marcia. I think it's Admin - I never sent myself a message, so don't know for sure.

It's kind of hard with the time difference. I come on line when I have breakfast, and then I usually go out to run errands. By the time I come back after dinner, you're asleep!

What sort of trouble, Dave? Do you think it's hardware or software causing it?

*touch wood* less said soonest mended....I'll let you know later Mark (not being funny - just a quaint old British custom)
Anyway to say my day went from bad to worse was an understatement: As you know my PC decided to play up in a major way, then we found out our dishwasher couldn't be repaired and then just as my chops were cooking in the oven - the over door snapped right off (unrepairable). I began to feel 'annoyed' and a little sorry for myself and then realised that in fact it really wasn't that bad - people are starving and here am I moaning about luxuries...
Moral - nothing is quite as bad as it seems

Oh, I'm familiar with the expression. Gee whiz, though! You are going through a rough patch aren't you? I hope everything is repaired well and soon. What about the computer - what's going on with it? On the good news side, the bunnies are fine. Hope the day improves for you!

Well they say things happen in threes. We say knock on wood when we are talking about something and not want it to happen to us. Such as "I haven't had a car accident in years. Kock on Wood." I hope things get on the mend fast for you.
Bunnies Mark? Are you bredding them?

Oops! Sounds painful! I've got to see if there's a spellchecker on this thing.
No, Twiggs, the bunny mother just happened to select one of our raised flower beds for her nest. Apparently she was thinking a low brick wall with some up-lighting on the Japanese maple in the center would provide some protection. She nestled out a place in the mulch for the bunnies and covered them with tufts of her own fur until the were completely covered and then covered that with mulch. Apparently a very fine mother.

Ok, there is a spellchecker, Twiggs, it's the 3rd button from the left below this 'Post Reply' box.

What? You mean you aren't bedding the bunnies? LOL Just breeding huh? When I was a kid, my uncle gave me a pair of bunnies. Know what happens when you get a pair? Soon there are many couples. However, we had a great time taking care of them and giving them to our friends. Then one day--on a Sunday, I clearly remember this--we had a new meat on the table. I am not sure bunnies do taste like chicken. I immediately gave away all the bunnies. Awful!

Hmm Mark LOL
Spell check. I don't seem to have one in the post reply area. What I do have is the following Shortcut to Quick Reply box: Alt+Q. Shortcut to post message: Alt+S.
