Bring your ideas, thoughts, etc to our little table here and let's talk. Maybe we can make a difference!

I was thinking that maybe when a concern comes up, perhaps we could organize letter and email writing campaigns to local, state and even national office holders. A good reason for us wanting to grow. I'm hoping someone will ask about saving gas tips on Communispace and I'll respond about AAA and of course notfuelingaround, LOL (has the links, you know)...heh, heh...

In my local region, there is a big do about LPG bring in big depots about and around our river and bay. Lots of stuff going on in DC about it too. We have an organization Save The Bay that does a great job on water quality through the state and is also fighting this project. Then another fantastic group, which is also national, is The Audubon Society. Of course there are so many great conservation groups. Mark, maybe you could list them here.
I really like your idea of emailing or snails-mailing the powers-that -be about our concerns. I think we always have to let the officials know what we are thinking. How about a list with links to our Senators and Representatives email addresses? Then we could email them about our concerns. I know you have so much work to do but it is a thought.
What is communispace?
Again, thanks for all you do.

Uh, you need to proof read that last bit a tad so I can understand it. Communispace is just another forum a couple of people I know and I were invited to join to give opinions about thing. By invitation only, but I met a couple of nice people there that I invited to join us here. Just another avenue for perhaps recruiting new members such as the 'Signature' at the bottom of emails with a link to here, all of the other little 'sites' I built, in which I put links back to here, etc.
And thanks about the idea of the list of politicos, I've been working on that and trying to come up with an automatic program for people to obtain it wherever they are from. That might be better than a really long, giant list.
But again, please redo somewhat that first paragraph, I could quite get the gist of it.
