Rascal is a 7 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. He is a gentle overgrown baby who likes to sleep on my feet at night. We brought him home from the animal shelter when he was 6 weeks old. Our other dog, Blackie Bear was two years old at the time, immediately wanted to take care of him. Since Blackie Bear was already a spoiled brat, we figured that any dog she raised was going to turn into a brat also. We decided that the name Rascal would be appropriate.

Catr you have two very beautiful dogs! I confess my own dog is ever so slightly spoiled too and is a Shepherd/Springer Cross...

is a charmer, Cat, I like him. Our Charley is a 'rescue' as well, somebody was dumping him at an animal shelter, if you can imagine! I made a page for him at www.bellsouthpwp.net/c/o/couchmt/ He's my little pride and joy!

Rascal thought he was going to get lots of attention here but now he is feeling neglected. Blackie Bear says not to upset her baby brother.

Rascal will eat anything I hand him. Blackie Bear prefers people food that is left within 4 inches of the kitchen counter. She will just reach up and take it off the counter if you turn your back. Actually, Rascal prefers popcorn and Blackie Bear prefers tortilla chips. And Mark, she really doesn't care if it is from Frito Lay or not.

LOL, I love that F-L reference, ;D Oh, but I see you are using the ImageShack uploader. I thought perhaps you hadn't seen it yet. Where did you see the red 'x''s? Sometimes, ImageShack has problems, that could explain the occasional problem with a red 'x' showing up instead of the picture. Just something we have to live with...
