Susan has had a make over. She seems to have lost some of her appeal. New clothes new hair smaller eyebrows and what looks like a new attitude. I say good for her because we should all look our best and she can really sing no matter what she looked like. But I honestly think her sensationalism was because she looked the way she did. People are so visual . Seeing her as she was they expected something equally as drab and startling.

I knew there were pictures of her in 'make over' mode doing the rounds, but nothing has been confirmed from what I have read - but I could well be wrong of course.
I think you are right about her success being due to the way she looked. Had she been beautiful looking and opened her mouth with such a voice hardly anything would have been said.

Whatever her popularity can be ascribed to, I think she has plenty of talent, and I applaud her winning spirit. I say, if she wants to spruce herself up a bit, then more power to her, and that voting should be based on talent, and not on one's looks. Incidentally, I see the video was removed (no longer works), but it still may be seen at YouTube or on EZ Cooking
