We've had no summer to speak and now the winter nights are drawing in - the garden is looking sorrowful with a lack of colour. We have planted several winter pansies and poylanthus to cheer it up, but failing that I'll have to content myself with our two (almost) resident squirrels, our 12 ring necked doves, and the other varierties of wildlife who visit the garden (apart from the slugs of course)

Was a short summer, wasn't it? Oh, and I can see your bird feeders, but what are you feeding the slugs? ;D
