One I adored watching and am intending to buy on DVD in November when it is released. It is a feel good movie starring Peirce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, & Julie Walters. It is packed with all the Abba songs and set in a beautiful setting. If you like musicals or Abba music you love it if you like both - you'll want to buy it!

Well, I'm certainly no "Dancing Queen", ;D but I did like ABBA.

the females in my family recently had 'girls night out.' We all went to see Momma Mia. The music was fun. The scenery nice. A feel good movie because of the ABBA music. I thought it was a bit long. My daughter saw the Play and said it was bettern than the film.Sort of another thought in this vein, when I saw Chicago on Broadway, I thought the music fun but way too long. Yet, the movie was outstanding. (I know, Mark would say that is a woman's way of thinking! but I see it all fitting together nicely.) :-)

No, I liked Chicago. I'm not sure I'd care much for Mamma Mia except for the music. but Chicago was, I thought, a good movie.

I see Mamma Mia on at the west end and I thought the film was superior to the stage show, although I liked both the west end show of Chicago and the film equally
