St Trinians is based on the old films of of the same name - one which as a younger person I used to enjoy.
St Trinians is based on a failing school for naughty girls. It takes you through the various schemes of the girls to make money and generally be naughty.
The film doesn't leave from the original rather just brings it up to date - a good humorous film rated 15 (for anyone over 15 y o)

I missed that one, though I do remember watching one called "Men behaving badly" on the BBC. Thought it was rather funny, in a rude sort of way.

I didn't particularly like Men behaving badly
Bad girls was about a woman's prison and though low budget was good viewing

Yes, it was a bit rude I thought - made men look bad. I preferred comedies like 'One Foot in the Grave', 'Last of the Summer Wine', etc., gentler comedies.

I liked the old ones like Are you being served, on the buses etc.

Me too. BTW, did you realize the blonde on 'Are you being served' also was on 'Eastenders'? (years later). It's interesting to watch the change over the years, isn't it?

Yes, I liked her in 'Are You Being Served' and 'Eastenders.' Going back to the film, I haven't seen this latest St Trinians film, but always enjoy watching the old ones. They're so funny.

I'm not sure they've been imported across the pond, I'll have to check.
