Seems to be working fine now, Dabbit. I don't have a clue as to what the problem was.

Did you say someone was going to look at it for you? Perhaps they'll be able to sort it out in short order. I hope so, anyway.

Yeah my daughters boyfriend is coming at the weekend (he's an IT manager in a school) so he's going to set up my wireless router and help with this problem (hopefully)

Good, good. I set up a wireless network in my house too - The desktop is stationary, but the laptops we can take anywhere in the house - very handy indeed.

I can't upload again, I wrote to my ISP yesterday but because I made a mistake and gave them my upload speed in Kbps and not Mbps they returned the email saying I needed to do it again and send the results...My upload speeds yesterday were between: 1.98 Mbps & 2.64 Mbps

Well, in person you could probably tell it's a rat snake. It's about 6 feet long - not poisonous, but it could still bite.

I never look closely at snake skins let alone a live snake. Now don't go on about how good they are and a part of keeping the ecology balanced. I know and still get the hibby gibbies. :-)

Now, now, as any herpetologist can tell you, "Snakes are our friends." Have you taken a snake to lunch lately? ;D

Snakes are our friends? Em not sure about that one Mark...Snakes, mice, slugs, frogs, rats, flies, (etc) should be sent into space to live happily together on planet animal welfare

Hmmm...I am afraid that would unbalance the earth's ecology - no telling what might happen then. Careful what you wish for.... ;D

Yes, but with snakes around, I fear for the rabbits. Every so often I'll hear something screaming in the woods in back at night, probably its death knell, I would imagine.

I live in a built up area with a large field at the back of our house (with a small pond) - the only thing I hear is the odd owl. That said going through the grave yard recently I saw my first fox! That excited me at the age of nearly 47 I saw my very first fox! i was slighty disappointed because it was like the shiny red doggy type I had seen in pictures...More browny and a bit ugly actually...Noentheless it still made me happy
