Watch your back with in laws, especially if they made it known you aren't good enough for their child, sister, or brother.

Oh, I have in-laws. There's the smart aleck (no offense) doctor, the loony tunes nurse, the out-of-work engineer, the alcoholic, the ditz....but none are a real bother because we tend to ignore them.

Cats are so smart. They don't have in laws. But humans have to put up with them. Silly custom. MAybe someone could petition the Supreme Court and get a ruling that states you only have to have in laws if you want. That they are not automatically in laws.

Would that make them out-laws?

My mother-in-law doesn't like cats. Do I need to say more?

She sounds like a real charmer, Josie-Lynn.

Your mother in law must be a very stupid ignorant person. How can anyone not like cats? Especially me? A curse of 10,000 mice in her house on her.

My late father-in-law was such a curmudgeonly man - I wonder what you would have done with him Alex?

Men think it's macho to dislike cats. Why? I don't know. I know of men who actually shoot cats for sport. How very tragic. A curmudgeonly man should be treated with lots of love from a big longhaired cat that is in the throws of shedding. Maybe even 2 longhaired cats. It's amazing how many hairs they cn leave behind when they really try. They should presist on sitting on his lap and purring very loudly. And getting right back up on that lap as soon as they are booted off. Of course you realize this will only make him worse but at least now you would know why he is so sour pussed.

I don't think it's macho to dislike cats, it's dumb. I've always had cats. My new signature looks kind of like a cat.

Very cool. Nice signature. But not all men are as evolved as you. It's deplorable what some men will do. It's good that cat's don't run in packs like dogs. Then the cat hating men of the world would cower in fear.

I'm not into machismo or other exhibitions of false pride.

Cats don't need macho. And definitely have nothing to do with false pride. Exhibitions.... That's a whole nother subject.

Let's just say I'm pleasantly self-assured.

Is that the same as moderately egotistical?

No, just have a healthy self-image.
