They have 'Lays' crisps in France they are called walkers here! (Interesting snippet I'm sure you'll agree)

Interesting tidbit of info there, Dabbit. I imagine, 'walkers' refers to their being carried and munched on while 'on the go', perhaps? That fellow on the sofa is a 'couch potato', a term used here for a layabout who watches TV and munches most of the time, sort of like Onslow on 'Keeping Up Appearances'... LOL

Yeah we use 'couch potato' too here... Not sure about 'walkers' meaning what you say, rather just a name I would assume. However, I'm not a walkers fan as they have taken over the whole industry here. We used to have a nice little family company called 'Smiths' and I liked there crisps above all - but Walkers took them over.
