Saw this question on a message board recently. "And your crybaby whiny opinion would be?"
"Thank you for NOT being perky."
"On second thought, NO again."
"Don't question authority. THEY DON'T KNOW EITHER."
"DON'T ANNOY THE CRAZY PERSON"
"I thought I wanted a career. Turns out I just wanted a PAYCHECK"
"I'll try to be nicer IF YOU'LL TRY TO BE SMARTER."
"I'M NOT TENSE, just terribly, terribly alert!"
"Another deadline, Another miracle"
"Does your train of thought HAVE A CABOOSE?"
"Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" What's on your desk???

Before I retired beside my office door I hung a cross-stitched sign that read: [glow=red,2,300]Be nice or Leave.[/glow] Everyone knew it was meant for our manager who had a propensity for tirades. I also had a small gargoyle statue atop my 'puter which was positioned to be scowling at anyone who entered my office. Surprisingly, lots of folks still came in to visit.

I kept a calendar of "Farside" cartoons to remind me to laugh and not let the %@#)(% get me down.

A mirror, for contemplation Your face makes you think? I have little box of graham crackers to nibble on. (OK I nibble on the crackers not the box. )

Where I used to work you had to be very careful what you had around your 'work space'. Could be shot or shuttled off to prison if you aroused suspicion because of your rubber ducky or cartoons of Osama eating pulled pork or something.

On my desk, I have a porcelan blue bird given to me by a dear friend.

Could be? I don't usually like things like that but when I look at the bird it makes me think of my friend and I get all warm and happy. :-)
