Oh, I've maintained my edge over the centuries - fortunately, for most of that time there were no typewriters - typing is something I picked up only after the typewriter was invented in the 1870's.
Alas, I've lost my edge using the quill and ink form of writing though - geese are a lot happer about that though. Like I used to tell Leonardo, oh, but that's another story...

Do you know I've always fancied having a bash with a quill, Over the park at the back of us there are loads of geese. Maybe I could borrow a feather (Note to self: Remember the incident in Bury when you were attack by a goose)

LOL, I assume you mean Bury St. Edmonds - some people might not know what you meant, not having been to Suffolk.
So what did you do to be so summarily 'goosed' as it were, in Bury? Sounds like a story I'd like to hear... ;D

yes it was Bury St Edmunds Mark - Sorry about that...It wasn't anything really just that we were feeding them and this poor little goose (yeah like geese are poor or little) wasn't getting any - so he nipped my leg, and of course at that time I had both legs so I felt it...lol

Well, there you go - you're one up on me. I can't say I've ever been goosed in Bury. ;D
I do know what you mean though. I had a pet goose when I was 3 years of age. I wasn't sure then of the difference between ducks and geese and named him Donald after the cartoon character Donald Duck. We would chase each other around the yard - got myself nipped more than once, I did.
