Last year I threw some potato skins into a container and we had a meal or two of potatoes. I did the same this year and when I recently 'lifted them' there was five of the tinniest potatoes ever. And I thought they were doing so well - especially with the added tomatoes

Well, I suppose they might each make a single 'chip'?

I planted a few potatoes that had gotten musty tasting. Didn't want to throw them out. Later this summer I noticed several small potato plants with flowers on them. Nothing unusual about that but the one plant got berries on it. They were about the size of peas. Started out green then turned black. I looked it up on the net and what so your know? I had some rare potato seeds! I asked my 90 year old farmer cousin (who grew potatoes) about potato seeds and got this reply "I didn't know potaotes ever set seed pods. Never had that happen to me. I saved the seeds and will plant them next spring. Wonder what I will get? Red? Black? Yellow? or just ordinary potatoes?
